Hackstub, hackerspace in Strasbourg
The Hackstub or "home of hacking" in Alsatian is a collective space where we share reflexions, practices, ideas, work on technological and artistic experiments, and aim to contribute locally to the construction of new, free, and common cyberspaces. Hackstub intends to give individuals and collectivities the means to learn about open digital tools and networks while developing political and ethical awareness. The hackerspace is a place of open experimentation to conceive a computing world without proprietary software and hardware and without commercial or state-driven surveillance technology.
Every Friday evening starting at 7pm
We love to discover new people, new ideas or new projects, so don't hesitate to come and chat in a friendly atmosphere! Join us at the Moquetterie (8 rue Thomas Mann in Hautepierre, tram lines A and D, Ducs d'Alsace). You're welcome to bring something to eat or drink!
Access to the hackerspace and participation in the proposed activities are subject to the respect of a charter, addressed to both guests and members of the association. Please read it before showing up!
